Annie Fernandez is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of EML-BNB Executive Search (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. She graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelors degree in Economics, Cum Laude and also holds an MBA from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland. Annie’s career started as a management trainee with Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati before leaving to pursue her MBA. Upon completion of her MBA, she joined a Global Search firm based in Zurich where she worked for three years. Annie’s next move was back to the Philippines with John Clements Consultants in their Human Resource & Organisational Development Division where she consulted with multinational and local clients to deliver their organisational needs.
Having the passion and drive to be an entrepreneur, she went on to successfully establish EML-BNB Executive Search, one of the premier search organisations in Malaysia, covering searches in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Indochina as well as in Malaysia itself. EML-BNB now has a total of 31 employees of which 9 are Consultants, 5 are in Research and 3 in Business Development. The company services a broad range of clientele ranging from IT, Healthcare, FMCG, Property Development, Advertising, Banking, Retail, Oil & Gas and Manufacturing. Positions handled range from middle to executive level management, where Annie is personally involved.
Annie strongly believes that the prime motivator for any search consultant worth their salt should be a genuine interest in their clients. This means extending their understanding beyond the client resourcing needs to the heart of what the company aims to achieve as an organisation.
Annie is the proud mother of 4 children, who she believes are her greatest achievement.
